39 weeks and counting...

39 oh my! I am pregnant still! Really pregnant still! :) I am not going to stay that I feel great, but I don't feel horrible. I mean most of my day I feel good! I can't believe the ticker on my page says 4 days....I mean I remember when it said over 100 days!!! The site where I have gotten all the fruit stops at a watermelon...ha ha....I guess that is the biggest fruit there is! :)

I went to the doctor Thursday of this week (July 23). Dr. Jackson said I was dilated to 4 cm now and that Zoe's head was even further down. She said she couldn't believe I hadn't had this baby all ready! :) Ha! We did an ultrasound to make sure everything was still okay. I have pictures, but I haven't scanned them in yet. I will post them as soon as I do. The heart looked really good, and her head measured 39 weeks. :) She didn't say how much she weighed or even give an estimate. I know it is hard for them to get an accurate weight, so I guess she doesn't even give a guess. I told her about Kelly's big baby boy though just so she would know (since I don't have a planned c-section)! I haven't gained any weight in 3 weeks, so I guess that is a good sign!

The last thing (minus the baby) for the nursery came in this week. Geoff and I went to go and get the glider chair last night! :) It is so comfy and soft! It is small and just the right size for me! I am ready for Geoff to take the final pictures of everything together now! :) I can't believe I can say that is actually finished! Zoe that is your cue!

I am really feeling Zoe. She is definitely out of room! Her super active time is from 9:30 to 11:00 or so. I think she is working on some routine or aerobics or something of that nature. She kicks, punches, and squirms all around! I can't say that it feels good...but something I will remember! She doesn't get still until I go get in bed! I am interested to see if what she does at that time of the night when she is out! :)

I honestly never thought there would be a 39 week blog after being dilated this long! :) I have tried to enjoy the last couple of weeks, but I am ready to be a mommy now! My doctor appointment is Thursday of this week. I will be one day overdue for that appointment, and she said that she will discuss induction with me at that point. I hope it doesn't come to that because I really wanted her to come when her time was right! :) I know she is ready to come, but I just hope it happens naturally! I have had many suggestions on how to speed it along, but most don't sound like anything I am interested in doing right now!

I leave you with a new picture of my nephew! He is an angel! :) I praise God for such a wonderful family and friends over these 39 weeks! I praise God for a healthy baby and nephew!

It makes me curious to think if I will blog at 40 weeks! Maybe sweet Zoe is waiting for her due date....July 29! I think that is my new prediction!
